What Is Embroidery?
Embroidery, especially in jackets, is a popular decoration method for personalisation and promotion. It is done by using an embroidery machine with needles and threads to stitch your logo or design onto jackets. To ensure the highest quality outcome, here at Involution, we use Tajima embroidery machines and Madeira threads to deliver our perfectly consistent embroidery designs every time, operated by skilled embroiders with years of experience. From combining these three important components, we can embroider logos, names, designs and slogans onto jackets.
What File Types Can I Send In To Have My Jackets Embroidered?
When it comes to sending in your files to be embroidered, a DST file (already embroidered digitised files) is what makes our Tajima machines run your designs perfectly each time. So, if you have your design in a DST file, great, you are all good to go, but don’t worry if you don’t, we can create DST files for your designs. Simply send in your design as a JPEG, PDF or PNG, and we can convert these files into a DST file at a small £25 set-up charge.
Can You Embroider A Rain/Waterproof Jacket?
You can, in fact, embroider onto rain or waterproof jackets without creating holes in the garment that would allow water to leak through; of course, the main aim of a waterproof jacket is to keep the rain out! Can You Embroider On Puffer Jackets Too?
Yes we can - the technique of embroidering onto a puffer is the same as when we embroider onto jackets or other items of clothes. The same machine, threads and frames are used, with a slight change to how the jacket is framed and placed on the machine. As extra care is taken to not embroider through the product padding, many of our puffer jackets have easy embroidery access zips which allow for a smooth decoration on the jacket without affecting the padding integrity. The access zips also hide the inner stitching for a clean and polished finish.

Where Can I Get My Name Embroidered On My Jacket?
There are a variety of options for you to embroider your jacket; for example, adding a name to a jacket is becoming a popular choice amongst businesses. Why your name? Adding your name to your jacket, adds a personalised interaction between you and your customers, creating a sense of comfortability from knowing the name of who they are talking to. The result is a deeper connection to your brand.
Alongside embroidering your name onto a jacket, a jacket allows for enough room for dual branding, by adding your logo or slogan to the chest, sleeve or back. For example, you can have your name on the left chest and your logo on the right, combining both can help build better customer connections with your brand by simply adding a touch of personalisation.
