Over the past few weeks, we’ve had some really exciting news that we couldn’t wait to share: Involution has officially acquired the Print.Inc brand and assets.
When a fantastic opportunity arose to purchase a fellow Leeds-based print business with a strong reputation, we knew it was something we couldn’t miss. After Print.Inc sadly went into liquidation on 25th July 2025, Involution stepped in, supported by valued recommendations from our supply chain, and on 20th August we officially completed the takeover.
This acquisition ensured that the Print.Inc customers, brand, and legacy weren’t lost.
Why This Matters
This acquisition represents an exciting new chapter. Not only have we been able to restore a well-known Leeds brand in an industry we are passionate about, but it also accelerates our ambitious growth plans leading up to 2030. Most importantly, it allows us to deliver a stable and committed service to the Print.Inc customer base, we’re proud to welcome on board.
It’s a fresh future for Print.Inc, now powered by Involution, backed by the stability, reliability, and above-and-beyond service we’ve been building for over 26 years. With this new chapter comes a refreshed logo, symbolising the future of Print.Inc powered by Involution.

What This Means for Customers
Print.Inc will keep its own identity, but with the full strength of Involution behind it. All production has now been moved into our on-site facility at Park House, LS16 6QE. Here’s what the acquisition brings:
For Print.Inc customers:
- Continued high-quality production from our Park House facility
- Guaranteed confidence in every order
- Access to an extensive range of branded merchandise
- Powered by a stable, debt-free business
For Involution customers:
- An even bigger range of 200+ in-house products
- Faster lead times & lower minimum order quantities across the extended in-house range
- The same dependable service we’ve always delivered
This is about giving Print.Inc customers the stability they deserve while unlocking more choice and flexibility for Involution customers.

Why We’re Excited
Our Operations Director, Nathan Cookson, summed it up perfectly:
“Print.Inc will continue under its own identity but now powered by Involution. This is about restoring confidence and setting the brand up for long-term success.”
And from our Managing Director, Michael Ainsworth:
“This is more than an acquisition – it’s a chance to build something even stronger. Together, we can create a more reliable, innovative service for years to come.”
Tim Rahill, Sales Director, also concluded:
“The acquisition of Print.Inc, who were forecast to turnover in excess of £4m in 2025, marks a significant strategic step for Involution, building on our continued growth. This acquisition accelerates our ambitious growth strategy to 2030 and more importantly, it ensures we deliver faster, more flexible, and more cost-effective solutions for all of our customers."
Looking Ahead
We know the liquidation was a challenging moment for Print.Inc, but we see this as the start of a fresh chapter. We’re also delighted to welcome six members of the Print.Inc team to Involution, with further recruitment ongoing.
With new energy, proven processes, and a shared commitment to quality, we truly believe that Involution + Print.Inc can become a Northern print powerhouse for the future.
This opportunity wasn’t something we had planned for... but often the best opportunities aren’t. And with a name like Print.Inc, we’re excited to restore it, grow it, and make it stronger than ever.
Here’s to new beginnings, stronger partnerships, and a brighter future, not just for Print.Inc and their customers, but also for the extended Involution community.
